Media Creations was started in 2011 with the creation of its award winning documentary film,
“Over Troubled Waters“. Prior to being formed, Media Creations created many corporate and industrial videos and testimonials as well as commercials and PSAs.
Our facility is outfitted with the most cutting edge technology to ensure that we can bring your vision to life. We utilize industry leading softwares such as FCPX, Davinci, Pro Tools, Adobe After Effects and more. Our equipment (including our partners) includes RED Weapon, Sony FS-700 4K w/Odysee 7Q, Nikon D7100, GoPro Black Edition, DJI Phantom 3 Pro Drone and a host of audio equipment, dollies, etc.
Our partners only add to the ability of Media Creations to literally get any job done, no matter the size.
Creative Director – Russell Fisher
Russell (Russ) was born in Santa Barbara, CA. His family relocated shortly thereafter to Reno, NV where he attended elementary school. In 1988, he then moved to Stockton, CA where he attended middle school at Morada Middle school and went on to graduate from Saint Mary’s High School. After some college, Russ pursued opportunity in Southern California as a print broker and marketing professional and moved back to Stockton 10 years later to start his family and assist in running the family business.
During his time in Los Angeles, Russ started working professionally in the film and video industry and, after returning to Stockton, started his own company, Media Creations, to allow him to continue pursuing this passion. Shortly after starting this company, he produced the award-winning film “Over Troubled Waters” for Restore The Delta, a local non-profit group, and continues to work heavily with the group to this day.
Today Russ continues to work on video and film projects for Media Creations, including commercials, political films, and corporate videos, while running his family’s 30-year business, BOSS Business Systems, Inc. and raising his growing family in Stockton, CA. Russ also has a strong desire to help his town and local businesses to succeed through his newly created co-op Innovate Stockton.
